It consists of an external part-a cap, as well as an internal part-a cylinder, which has a thread for screwing to the neck of the gas tank. There are two disks with numbers on the outer cap.
The cover can only be unscrewed when the combination of these two disks is correctly installed:
The first digit is for the internal disk;
The second digit is for the external disk.
The correct combination of disks (code) is set at the factory and written on the inside of the cover in the format "1.7" (for example), where "1" is for the internal disk, "7" is for the external one. The numbers for each gas tank cap are individual.
If the disc combination is incorrect, the outer cap of the cap will idle around the inner cylinder without snagging on it or opening the gas tank.
